Kirby Ashton - Assistant Manager

Kirby is our assistant manager, offering managerial support whilst also running the office accounts department. Working to beat each year’s turnover, Kirby is our very own Carol Vorderman, she oversees company expenditure and ensures targets are being hit. An incredible multi-tasker and loyal employee, Kirby has been with Direct Housing since 2012 and has seen the company evolve to where it is now. We love Kirby’s methodical approach and how efficiently she supports the entire team.

Melissa Smith - Administration Manager

Melissa deals with overseeing all administrative aspects of the business for lettings and sales in the UK and Spain, and also ensures all of our available properties are being marketed on all advertising mediums. She is Glenda's daughter and has grown up with the business, developing into a good all-rounder.

Jennifer Jacangelo - Lettings Negotiator

Jen is the first face you see when you come into the office. A happy and hard-working team member, Jen focuses on Lettings, while providing excellent front office customer service and handling telephone enquiries. From coordinating appointments through to finalising tenancies with excited prospective tenants, Jen is a pleasure to deal with.

Ilva Webster - Repairs Co-ordinator

Ilva has quickly proven she is smart multi-tasker which is imperative in this role, along with her assertive approach to resolving maintenance queries. Ilva liaises with Landlords and Tenants, ensuring that maintenance issues are remedied as quickly and efficiently as possible, as well as keeping all relevant certificates up to date for our portfolio of managed properties.

Lauren Snape - Administration

Lauren is the person who chases outstanding paperwork for property lettings and sales, liaises with Council Tax, and utility Boards, and makes sure the tenancy files are complete. A happy and hard-working team member, who focuses mainly on our front office customer service and telephone enquiries. Working closely with the lettings team Lauren ensures everything runs as smoothly as possible, from coordinating appointments to finalising tenancy agreements. We love Lauren's initiative and her attention to detail in everything she does.

William Wade - Inspections and Inventory Manager

Our inspections manager Will, oversees any major works to properties in our management, which gives landlords peace of mind that there is a specific person looking after the overall maintenance and condition of their property. Will enjoys being involved in making sure everything in relation to property improvement runs smoothly and with no dramas. He also carries out mid-tenancy inspections and liaises with landlords to make them aware of any potential issues. Will has great experience within both the student and residential market and works hard to ensure all of our properties are in the best condition possible.
